The things most of us hate but don't really think to talk about...

Welcome

Hey everyone. For my first post I'd just like to provide you with a brief introduction as to what my blog will be about and my motivation for the blog. When given the assignment I decided that I wanted to write about something that people of most ages and backgrounds could relate to, as opposed to a specific topic such as sports or my current college experiences. With that in mind, the idea for my blog is simple: I will be writing about the annoying everyday occurrences that most of us experience and most of us hate, hence the name "Don't You Hate It When..." Not everyone experiences these things on a regular basis, but chances are at some time or another in your life you have experienced or will eventually experience one or many of these annoyances. With that being said, I appreciate you reading and I hope you enjoy the blog. Please include your approvals, criticisms, and frustrating experiences...who knows, maybe your experience will one day be featured in "Don't You Hate It When..."

Until next time,

Zac

  1. I love this idea for a blog- very creative and easy to relate to. In fact, it seems to me that the show Seinfield was based on the very nuances of daily life that you're highlighting here. The instances you have described are both hilarious and extremely frustrating at the same time. Keep them coming!

  2. Zac, do you recall the conversation between us and your parents on the ride home from the beach? We went over some topics that are more along the lines of 'pet peeves' but may be worthwhile to write about in your blog; the challenge, though, will be to remember any of the things we said.

  3. Zac, I love the idea and have experienced many of them. Having a sweet tooth I wander if anyone has had this happen:
Don't you hate it when you ask for a cupcake or iced brownie at the coffee or pastry shop and they grab it with that piece of waxed paper at the top removing at least half the icing with it. Then they toss it into a paper bag and throw at least 7 napkins on top. While trying to retrieve you pastry your forearm, wrist and palms become covered with the rest of the icing. Maybe that why you need 7 napkins. You are now covered with icing and your cupcake is not. Please people I bought the cupcake cause I LIKE ICING!
Glad to get that off my chest or hand I should say.
Keep up the good work Zac.
